About Me

Hello and welcome to my virtual portfolio. I'm Paul, a junior biology major at the College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State). My educational and experience background runs from the biological and social sciences through media, teaching and finance. I’ve always considered college as a place to learn a little about anything and everything that sparks my interest. Sort of like an all you can eat buffet of knowledge. My future plans include medical school, a surgical residency and practicing medicine.

Volunteer Experiences

This link is to an organization that I greatly admire. Special Olympics is a global program which provides athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to experience the excitement, joy and personal fulfillment associated with sports training and competition. I have been volunteering for Special Olympics since the 10th grade in both swimming and golf. Swimming lessons or meets with the Rahway Rays are a weekly event and Special Olympics Golf Outings usually take place a few times each year.

The next link is to my church, St. Adalbert's RC Church in Elizabeth, New Jersey. I've been volunteering throughout the church ever since I can remember. I was an alter server as a child, and now currently participate in youth group and the church bell choir.

The next link is to a program called Sustainable Lawrence. Sustainable Lawrence is a large group of residents, businesses, congregations, and other organizations dedicated to creating a sustainable community in Lawrence Township, NJ. I conducted surveys and assessments of business owners in Lawrence Township and analyzed data to make reccomendations to Sustainable Lawrence town meetings.
